Origins of the Tinyverse
Tiny Colony, a Solana based blockchain gaming project, launched the first episode of its video production called ‘Tiny Tales’.
The Tiny Colony team launched the series through a tweet on April 12. In the one minute long video, the resource and construction management gaming protocol told the lore of the Tinyverse to its community. The team opened up on the aims of its latest production to Web3Wire:
“Tiny Tales is a perfect introduction for our community to the Tinyverse. Through the 5 episodes we will go through the history and lore of Tiny Colony, giving context and more information about the world that our Characters live in,” Adolf explained to Web3Wire. “As you may know, we’re producing an anime series slated for 2023. We wanted to show off our lore and storytelling sooner than that, so Tiny Tales was the place to be!”
The story begins with Tiny Spirits, which held enormous power to those who can harness it, being released to the Underground due to a cataclysmic event. Ant Kingdoms sent their nobles on missions to defeat these Spirits, and even battled with each other along the way. Nobles who were able to steal the power of the Spirits became sorcerers that now dedicate their lives in protecting these spirits. After a thousand years, human scientists will enter the mix and bring change to the Ant Kingdoms.
The tales intertwined help further establish a world in which the growing game can come to thrive in. Users are already beginning to immerse themselves in what the team are building out and it appears as though every step is being taken to establish a strong community.
What is Tiny Colony?
Built on the Solana blockchain, Tiny Colony is an expansive pixelated metaverse where players can construct their own colony. Colonies built and managed correctly can earn tokens by joining quests or participating and wagering in battles. Spend those tokens purchasing more NFTs for your colony or for repairs of your base after a battle.
