Fabric, a decentralized synthetic asset issuance protocol built on the Solana network, will join SolanaNews in a Youtube live discussion.
Exclusive Livestream for Solana News
We are thrilled to announce an exclusive livestream with an executive from Fabric. For this iteration of the Solana News Livestream, we’re hosting the decentralized synthetic asset issuance protocol built for the Solana ecosystem, Fabric, for a live AMA discussion at on the DeFi Direct Youtube channel.
We will discuss a variety of topics about the rapidly expanding Solana ecosystem and how Fabric fits into the utility of the network to provide its users with innovative DeFi solutions based on synthetic assets.
About Fabric
Fabric brings tokenized synthetic assets to the Solana ecosystem. The protocol’s synthetic assets are collateralized using Fabric (FAB) tokens which need to be locked into pools to ensure that Solana Program Library (SPL) synthetics are minted and distributed. After being stamped, the SPL synthetics can then be traded on the Serum DEX.
As previously reported by Solana News, the protocol announced its litepaper on May 22, 2021, via a Twitter post which introduced the community to the fundamentals of the protocol’s user propositions and use-cases on Solana.
About DataBitz
DataBitz is the Community Lead of the Fabric Protocol. He has been a part of the Fabric community since the day they first started their Discord server. His involvement in crypto began in 2016 with mining small tokens with his Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) to gain more exposure to Bitcoin. He is a strong believer in Solana’s potential as a blockchain network as it’s a highly efficient channel to get into the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. Apart from this, he has a background in Marketing and Videography.
