Phantom Wallet Announces iOS Beta Invites

Phantom wallet announces partnership with Magic Eden for an auction of 7,000 exclusive NFTs for its iOS TestFlight group

Phantom Wallet Distributes Invites

The Phantom Team will be handing out free invites via this TestFlight link, after an announcement on Twitter on December 28. 1,000 users will be able to experience the app while it remains just weeks away from its official launch.

After a blog announcement by the Phantom team, the initial plan had been for 7,000 Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) to be made available through a Dutch auction on Magic Eden, each acting as an exclusive invite to its wallet’s iOS Beta TestFlight group. The winner of the auction would have used their NFT to redeem an invite to the test group. After the community responded with huge opposition this idea was then scrapped.

“Hey everyone – we hear your feedback loud and clear and we’ll be changing our approach to how we distribute our iOS beta invites.” The team explained through their tweet.

If you are lucky enough to receive the revised free participation invite, the process through TestFlight is made easy. After clicking on this link and filling out the necessary information, you will be able to put the app through its paces and offer any relevant feedback to the respective team.

Phantom also confirmed on Twitter that they will be making a $200,000 donation to Girls Who Code, a non-profit organization who were due to benefit from the initial Magic Eden NFT sale.

Phantom is a crypto wallet that makes it safe and easy to store, send, receive, stake, and swap tokens on the Solana blockchain. This latest app launch has caused much excitement for Apple users and the initial Beta launch appears to not have gone as the team would have hoped. There is something to be said for the quick response and attentiveness to their community however.
