Web3 Meets the Vibrant Podcasting World
The science-fiction metaverse Star Atlas teamed up with Audio Up, an award-winning podcast studio, to create an original sci-fi adventure podcast.
The news was first shared on April 20 by Star Atlas on PR Newswire. The press release introduced some details from the story that will develop inside an experimental prison in the far reaches of Star Atlas´ metaverse. The scripted eight-episode series is entitled Moon Station Six and follows a wrongfully convicted android bounty hunter.

The podcast will feature unique Non-Fungible Token (NFT) drops, unlocking further possibilities within the game’s story. Star Atlas has already generated over $175 million in revenue since 2021 via multiple NFT products like playable ships, in-game resources and consumables, giant space stations, mining drills, and power plants.
Even though the full game will still take years until it´s completely ready, Star Atlas is being developed in modules, giving users access to new features and gameplay over time. Some important game releases scheduled for later this year include a web-based mini-game and the Volant Studio, a 3D spaceship showroom built with Unreal Engine 5, the world´s most advanced game engine.
