Greetings Commanders, the time has finally come to announce the highly anticipated first project launching through StarLaunch: MonkeyBall!
What is MonkeyBall?
MonkeyBall is a AAA video game being developed with the Unity game engine on the Solana blockchain. In the game, users manage a team of four monkeys that play head-to-head soccer matches against opposing players. Team’s earn tokens for victories and can collect additional rewards for buying stadiums and attending the matches of other players.
Who is Involved?
Incubated by COTI CEO Shahaf Bar-Geffen, MonkeyBall has quickly secured strong and reputable backers (not limited to): Solana Capital, CMS Holdings, Morningstar Ventures, Jump Capital and Longhash, and included angel investment from multiple founders at eToro and DraftKings including the platform’s largest shareholder, billionaire Shalom Meckenzie.
What’s the plan?
The vision is to build a Play-to-Earn metaverse that knows no boundaries, whether you’re a hardcore or casual gamer, a financial whale, or a tiny fish, you’re able to participate, enjoy, and earn in the game. Unlike other games that require players to be constantly active to earn, MonkeyBall offers ways to participate and earn for both active & passive players. Ultimately, they are building a gaming world for a diverse array of players, with the aspiration to allow the community to adopt various gameplay roles and freely run a decentralized player-owned economy.
How can I be a part of this?
As the very first IDO for StarLaunch, MonkeyBall is expected to receive a high turnout on registration. Taking into consideration the cutting edge Hydrazine Model, users will experience an equitable and fairly distributed DEX offering. Matches are played between two teams, each with 4 Monkeys playing the positions of Scorer, Defender, Midfielder and Goalkeeper.
